I just thought it was time to make a concrete rating scale for flash animations and where better to place it than on the site itself.

Ratings*:
10 - Perfect. Awe inspiring, unique, innovative.
9 - Perfect or close to perfect.
8 - Very well done. Some minor issues**.
7 - Above average. Some issues.
6 - Average.
5 - Below Average. Many issues
4 - Poor. Many major issues.
3 - Very poor. Majorly flawed.
2 - Barely qualifies as a flash.
1 - I thought this was a flash site.
0 - Ok...this is equivalent to a negative score.

*Some ratings may or may not take into account innovation/originality depending on, but not limited to, the quality of the game, my mood, and how much it can distract me from it lack of originality.
**Issues can be categorized as either mechanical (How the game runs), graphical (How a game/movie looks/sounds), and gameplay-related (How the game is played).

This rating system will be utilized as of 7/17/09, this scale may or may not be accurate for ratings before this date.

As of 8/17/09, I will rate demos as if they were full games, but take 1 point away from total rating score since it is a demo.

I do not approve of flash games or demos which require money or registration on an outside site to obtain features. I am annoyed by tests, betas, and alphas. I tolerate locked content demos with only links to outside sites.

I guess I'm gonna review a lot more since I now have a defined scale.
